When I start the car goes to 2000 rpm and no problems smoke.Other blue?
Furthermore, when standing I get very fast fluctuating rpm. So, when I start the car becomes 2000-2500 rpm and starts blowing the blue-white smoke. when I put it up and start running, stop smoking, but the car accelerates without me stepping on the accelerator pedal. I took it to a mechanic, but do you have any suggestions?
Blue smoke = burning oil. White smoke = water that evaporates in a cold exhaust system heating or cooling burn once the car warms up. The causes of these conditions vary widely. White smoke when starting a cold car is normal – the condensation of the exhaust pipes appear as warming cold white smoke until the car warms up. Burning oil can be caused by worn rings, valves, or simply residual oil on the valves when you start the car … If the car is idling at 2000-2500rpm when started from cold, which the behavior is probably normal – especially if you are driving an older ( `~ 80) GM car. That are programmed to idle between 2000-2500 until the engine warms both to increase oil pressure at startup and to accelerate the heating of the catalyst of a cold start. The idle speed should be reduced to ~ 1000rpm in neutral once the engine has warmed up. The sense of speed the car without having to press the gas is probably the result of acceleration of the engine partially opened by the ECU to the engine idle at 2000-2500rpm in neutral to warm everything up. The RPMs drop to ~ 750-1000rpm when the car starts, but with even opened the throttle a bit to warm up the engine, the engine is making enough power, even with the foot not on gas, to push the car forward once started. This also must stop once the engine is warm and idling (while in neutral) decreases to ~ 1000rpm back once everything is at normal temperature of operation.
