I bought the Polk SurroundBar with some trepidation, because faith is an act of buying expensive due to the fact that I could not find a distributor with a statement of Polk to the test. I thought the device would be ideal in my TV room, because I refuse to holes in the floors of traditional wooden rear 5.1 speaker.
Adjustment and finishing
The SurroundBar is here and I was impressed with the product integrity. The adaptation and the finish of the bar was very impressive. The product is very strong and solid, closed with a real metal, which is very high-tech appearance and robust. Moreover, the accessories included in the package (standing, stand, cables) are of the highest quality and complement the nearby bar.
Performance
When the system was established initially thought looked beautiful. Then I studied the development of guidance, and found that the manner in which it is connected to my subwoofer and the necessary adjustments in my receiver was not correct. Instead of standard RCA connection I have to be reorganized in line through the speaker cable 2 connections, as recommended by Polk. On the other hand, the size should be set at a great all channels. (I've learned to always follow the manufacturer's specifications!)
Once the adjustments, the sound is incredible. The first thing to note is the power of this unit. The sound is excellent and very impressive. The surround effect is absolutely amazing, both with DVD and Xbox games. However, the experience of almost 360 degrees with a healthy separation between all channels. Movies with DTS-ES 6.1 sound are a marvel to hear. This system replaces Onkyo 3.1 speaker size and sound cleaner, more powerful and much richer than others in terms of sufficient size!
Conclusion
I am totally satisfied with my purchase. My choice for demonstration equipment that could invite my neighbors and friends to come and admire my new toy. Expensive but you get what you pay for this product – that no child, no holes in the ground, easy installation and excellent performance. Even my wife thinks is cool!
