You probably thinking to yourself, my blog can’t complete with the big players such as techcrunch, johnchow, johncow, and many other top 50 blogs. If you have that attitude, then you’re bound to fail. What if you were a robot without emotion? Would you be successful that way? I realize that now whether I am successful or not depend on my attitude.

Don’t Tell Yourself You Can’t Compete
Rule 1 don’t tell yourself that your blog can’t compete with other big players. If you tell yourself that, then you already fail. I want you to change your attitude. I know what I want you to do; I want you to have the attitude of a problems solver. Let play this scenario, you start a blog it became a hot community for a week. After that your blog start to slow down, and you can’t find anyone interested in reading your blog or becoming a member. What do you do next since your blog is not hot anymore? That is why being a problem solver is very important to your blog.

Become A Good Spy
Learn what the big players are doing right that makes them successful. I believe that when you start blogging it is very difficult to find anyone interested in reading your blog unless you found a niche. The reason for that is because your blog is not successful yet. Once you’re successful then you can just ride the wave. You must also learn what people interest are. How many people want to read about tech? How many people want to read about investing? How many people like reading poem? I can answer that for you, a lot women like poem.

Learn How To Market Yourself
I believe that in order for you to be successful you need to get out there and market yourself. The blogs that are in the top 50 don’t have to market them self, but you must. You cannot write an article each day and thinking it going to be successful. You have to introduce yourself and your blog to other people otherwise nobody care about you. You have to analyze what type of marketing work and don’t work. Is giving out freebies such as free iPod Touch work in getting more traffic?

Final Thought
I believe in order for your blog to be success you must do 3 things that I just talked about. What is your formula in making your blog successful I like to know? What ideas would you recommend that can help improve a blog?

Who Do You Love?
Sorry I Made You Wait

I think paying high gas price is a good thing. When people are paying high gas price for transportation, they tend to drive less. New eco-friendly technologies are likely to be developing. We cannot live in a world of fossil fuel because it is heating the planet, and it is bad for our health because it pollute the air. The reason that the United States doesn’t agree to cut emission by 50 percent is that it wants to protect it economy. I don’t think it is the right way to protect jobs or the economy.

The Failure To Act
I don’t understand why Congress doesn’t plan to cut emission by 50 percent like Japan? I believe that having a high gas price is good because it will lead to new eco-friendly energy. I don’t think it is right to have high food price. I think that people have suffered enough.

The Difficulty Of Finding Work
When people are losing job or can’t find any work, it will be very hard for low-income family to pay for electricity, food, water, and transportation. The government must step in to do everything it can to prevent low-income family from being homeless. How will low-income family feed their children if they don’t have any job? How will they pay their utilities bills if there’s no work? Low-income family are suffering the most and yet the government are sending only $600 check for each person. How long will a $600 check last for family in a time of needs?

Final Thought
What can you do to help prevent global warming? I switched to compact fluorescent light bulb to save energy. I switch to low-flow shower head to save water. I no longer buy desktop because it uses more energy than laptop. I no longer drive a truck, I now drive Honda Accord because it get better miles. I wash my cloth using cold water. What part are you doing to help fight global warming?

What should you do when oil is up to $140 a barrel? Should you sell your stock because the Dow is down 400 points? When I look back on my past investing, I realize that I usually buy when everyone panic or scare from what happening with the market. Do you think I am stupid when everyone is dumping financial stock but I am buying more of it?

The 1929 Depression
If I remember my history correctly, this is not the first time financial were in trouble. During 1929 depression home could be bought for a few thousands dollar compare to today. The banks were closing and not opening to consumers because they don’t have any money for them to redrew.

The deposits dry up because banks used those deposit to bet on the stock market. When President Roosevelt came into power and created the New Deal campaign; the economy got back on it feet.

The Past Cannot Be Used
The past cannot be uses to determine the future because the condition are not the same. What we can do is learn from it so that it does not repeat. Why do I say that? We can see a pattern on how the market behaves but we cannot be 100% sure. I don’t believe that in time things will sort itself. What must be done is to have a leader like Roosevelt that can solve problems. Nobody want a leader that think things will sort itself out while he is having a party at his Hampton home.

Final Thought
I think that panicking is the worst thing you can do when the house is on fire. What you must do is to be calm and try to find a way out. Panicking wouldn’t do you any good since you already lost money on your 401k or stocks. Should you sell out and take the lost or buy more? The question I should ask is can the company you owned weather the storm? If the company you owned cannot weather the storm like Country Wide then there is no reason to be dreaming and hoping.

I believe that how successful you want to be depends solely on the attitude. I know it may sound crazy but please hear me out. I know that I can make more money in investing. Lately, my portfolios have been hit hard by the credit crunch. I lost more than 1700 dollars. Do I feel sad about it not really? I always like to bet big. I have to believe in myself in order to make more money.

Investing Strategies
Let not talk about what skill or discipline you should use. I don’t think that investing is hard but what I think is hard is your discipline. If you are very well discipline then I am sure that you can make a lot of money. You don’t need to know how the market is doing every day but you must have complete faith in yourself. Mistake will always be made and that what we are here for. We are here to learn in this world. Even though I lost 1700 dollars in my retirement account but I am still making 1375 gain in Visa.

There’re no senses living day by day from past regret. Sure, I could have avoided buying timeshare, or avoided being in a car crashed. When I listen to people telling me about the past mistakes they done, I feel that they are still living with regret. They just give up on the present and don’t want to move forward because they missed their chances.

Final Thought
I think that being focus and loving what you do is the best formula for success. Success can be learns but being focus and loving what you do can’t. I see that now as I began to realize what it is mean to live in this world.
