Conservation of the battery?
1. Keep the battery in a house or cold and dry storage area.
2. Keep batteries in the package original as possible.
3. Do not charge the battery bafore shop.
4. Do not keep your lithium-ion battery fully discharge (depleted).
5. No new store and used batteries together.
6. Never store batteries at temperatures above 130 degrees F.
7. Do not allow the terminals of the batteries stored in contact with each other.
8. Fully discharge and recharge your battery every 3 to 4 weeks.
9. If a laptop battery, reset every 10 months.
Does it really help to store batteries in the refrigerator?
Yes, but only if they can stay dry too. The higher the temperature, the more the free flow of ions or self-discharge of the battery. Storing primary batteries (D's, C, AA, AAA, 9 volt, etc.) in a cooler environment slows down this type of discharge that all batteries experience even when not in use, therefore, a lifetime longer.
