I Should Have Cash Out (part 1)
Posted on August 2nd, 2008 by Will Work for Cheesecake!!!I should have cash out when I gain about $700 in Nucor stock. Now I am regretting it because it backs down to when I first bought it at 53 a share. What possible lesson can I learn from this? How do you possibly know when to cash out? I don’t know the best answer to this question but I can come up with something.
52 Week High
I still think that Nucor stock could go higher but the market doesn’t agree. I guess my analysis turn out wrong. I lost $700 gain in Nucor for not cashing out. This mistake must be study carefully. How can I avoid something like this from happening? Can I follow the market trend? I guess I have to in order to avoid something like this from happening.
Biting My Apple To Soon
I guess I didn’t want to make the mistake of cashing out to soon because of the lesson with Apple stock. I could have made $20,000 from $2000 invested but instead I only made $3000 for selling too soon. When you find an outstanding stock should you hold it almost forever?
Summary
The answer to when you should cash out are not as simple as people think. What if the companies you buy is Apple or Google, should you think of cashing out early? If you did then you would have made big mistake for selling too soon. I need to examine this subject further in order to understand more.
