Sell Everything Buy Google!!!, I’m Joking

Posted on April 19th, 2008 by Will Work for Cheesecake!!!

Google went up 20 percent about $89.87 in one day on Friday, should we sell the stocks we currently holding? Should I follow everyone in the crowd and just get in on Google now because it went up 89.87 in one day? Google is now $539 a share, but what if it goes to $600 on Monday? Would I miss out on making money if I don’t buy it now at $539 before it get up to $600? Do you see how the market is messing with your mind?

Should you abandon everything you ever learned and join the Google bandwagon? Are you really investing if you are just buying Google because it went up? What is the different between gambling in casino and betting on Google? The risk are just the same, the house still have a greater advantage over you.

You could tell me I don’t know anything and I am dumb because I miss buying Google at 84 a share during it IPO. Yup, I was dumb for missing Google during it IPO. I will ask you this, if you have 53 stocks to pick and only 3 are winner, can you find 3 winner from 50 losers?

You probably would be able to find 1 winner depending on your skills and experience, but finding all three would be very difficult. You probably would need a skill to see the future in order for you to find 3 winner from 50 losers.

Final Thought
You should know when you are gambling and when you are investing. If you follow the crowd because the stock went up, then that is called gambling. If you are using your skills and experiences into researching a company to see if it sounds and promising, then that is called investing. I hope that this article is helpful and interesting to you and me. Thank for reading. !@8

I definitely, would not be buying! If you had it sell it. It will dump again. In this precarious market the best you can do is in and out. Especially Google because of its volatility.

So be smart, buy on the deeps make a few bucks, and run like bats out of hell.

The stock market is ALWAYS a gamble, my dear! That’s why you never put “all your eggs into one basket” so to speak. Develop a well-rounded investment portfolio, if possible.
